Fire For The Future!

There is a crying darkness for the shining of your light. Where is your light?

Every youth must carry a fire for the future. More so, the young fellows must carry the oil that drives the fire such that it becomes unquenchable yet quenching the fiery darts of the enemy. Everyone could carry a lamp but not everyone carries a Light. It is possible for a lantern to be present yet having no fire that produces the Light for all men to see, a bulb could well be fixed yet having no electricity to power it. Many young people are in this state (like salt which has lost its savour) they are busy about every other matter except that which relates to their purpose and assignment in life. The glory of the youth is their strength, readily every young person has a great deal of strength at his/her disposal but the essence of possessing strength is for the running of the Vision.

Oh Youth! What doest thou with thy might?

It is high time you carried a substance that makes living worthwhile. Let your dreams, visions, ideas burn like a fire in your bones. We are in a generation of coldness, laxity, darkness and lethargy; it’s only those who carry the fire that can be relevant in the coming days. Can you imagine trying to cook a meal without heat in the stove or the cooker generating heat? Even so it becomes absolutely impossible to attain destiny without a burning desire in the heart.

I have personally discovered Fire has the ability to consume, illuminate, warm up, spread, purify.

·        Our God is a consuming fire; whatsoever is not of God gets burnt to ashes. When God places this same fire in our hearts all that is antithetical to your progress to destiny is consumed and eliminated. Social vices, hidden habits, laziness, wrong associations are taken out.

·          Wherever fire burns there is Light. We are the Light of the world, for us to be Light it means others are in darkness. When you see a man of Destiny his life shines, represents a cause. The wise virgins carried lamps with oil that sustained the Fire, their Light never ceased because their fires were continually burning. So, the fire shall burn continually therein it shall not go out. I urge you to Get a fire in your soul.

·          The Lethargy and coldness can only be forestalled by those whose Life generate heat. There are men whose presence stirs up those who hear them speak. The disciples were incubated by the presence and teaching of Jesus. The lives of President Barack Obama, Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln and our own Fela Anikulapo Kuti still inspire us today. Martin Luther King once said our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter. The radiance of these lives inspires us to succeed. This however is a product of the commitment to knowledge and a life of service to humanity.

The power of fire is in its spreading. When a man has caught a vision the passion and desire for the fulfilment of the mandate drives the spread of the components of the vision, in other words it begins to speak. No wonder God blessed man saying Be Fruitful, Multiply, Replenish the earth.  John the Baptist from the wilderness was crying out and all the regions round about came to him to hear him. This write up is a product of a strong desire in me to transmit a life to you the reader. The urge to raise leaders is like a fire burning in my heart.

Silver and gold are transformed into precious substances when it has gone through the fire. Every being has a mass of greatness resident in him, but it is the presence of the fire that produces or reveals this substance.

Dear reader, I’ll like to ask you: Do have a Fire that is capable of driving your future?

Dear Youth get committed to your dreams today. John Legend once said the future is here and we are already late for it. It’s about time to Arise, Shine. I expect that you’ll make this a matter of Prayer before God tell Him to release a Fire into your lamps. When the need for which God created you arises will you be ready?
